Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

TenMinuteWebsite ("we", "us") builds and manages websites for small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website, build service, or managed hosting, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • What you give us: business name, contact name, email, phone number, business description, and any content (text, photos, logos) you provide during intake or on a build call.
  • What we collect automatically: pages visited, referral source, and standard device/browser information when you browse our site.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your full card number on our servers.

2. How we use your information

  • To build, publish, and maintain your website.
  • To communicate with you about your project, consultations, and renewals.
  • To send review requests, blog drafts, and follow-up text messages on your behalf when you've engaged those services.
  • To improve our services and comply with legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers we need to operate — hosting, email, payments (Stripe), SMS (Twilio), and the AI tools that draft your content. We never sell your information. If you become an agent or contractor, your performance data is shared only as needed to calculate and pay your commissions.

4. Text messages

If you opt in to our review, reminder, or follow-up text services, you consent to receive recurring messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help.

5. Data retention

We keep your project and account data for as long as you're an active client, and for a reasonable period afterward to handle support and accounting. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us; we'll remove what we're not legally required to keep.

6. Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from emails with one click and opt out of texts by replying STOP. If you're in California or the EU, you have additional rights under the CCPA and GDPR — contact us to exercise them.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, encrypted storage, access controls, and daily backups. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and notify you promptly if a breach ever occurs.

8. Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change and post the new "last updated" date above.
