Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern your use of TenMinuteWebsite's website, build services, and managed hosting. By requesting a build, signing up, or using our services, you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, don't use our services.
1. The service
TenMinuteWebsite designs, builds, and publishes websites for small businesses, with optional ongoing managed hosting, AI content tools, and review/social services. Build tiers (Launchpad, Professional, Custom) and managed tiers (Sovereign, Starter, Growth, Scale) are described on our pricing page; the specifics you agreed to at purchase control.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account. You must be 18 or older and have the authority to engage us on behalf of any business you represent. Accurate intake information (business details, ownership of assets) is your responsibility.
3. The build
- Launchpad and Professional sites are built live on a scheduled call; Custom builds follow an agreed milestone schedule.
- Revisions are limited to the rounds included in your tier; extra rounds are quoted separately.
- You must provide content and approvals promptly — delays on your side may push your go-live date.
4. Payment
- One-time build fees are charged before or at the build call. Managed hosting is billed monthly or annually (10% off annual prepay) until cancelled.
- Add-on modules and additional domains are billed as separate recurring line items.
- Failed payments may pause services after a grace period and notice.
5. Self-hosted (Sovereign) delivery
For self-hosted clients, we package your codebase, configure your domain, and provide a deployment guide and walkthrough. Once delivered, you own and are responsible for hosting, maintenance, security, and updates. The one-time setup fee covers handoff only; ongoing maintenance is your responsibility.
6. Trials and downgrades
Growth and Scale tiers include a 30-day free trial. We send reminders before the trial ends. If you don't add a payment method, you're automatically downgraded to Starter (hosting + consultation) — we never auto-charge you.
7. Content ownership
You own your website content and the site we build for you. You grant us a license to use your content, name, and brand materials to build, host, and (where applicable) showcase your project. AI-assisted content is provided as a starting point; you're responsible for reviewing it before publishing.
8. Acceptable use
You won't use our services for unlawful, infringing, or abusive content, spam, or anything that harms others. We may refuse or remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.
9. Warranties and disclaimers
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, but we don't guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, or business results. Services are provided "as is" to the extent allowed by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
11. Cancellation
Cancel managed hosting any time — it stops at the end of your current paid period. Build fees are non-refundable once work has begun, but we'll work with you if something's genuinely wrong.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services evolve. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Florida.
